We accept payments through PayPal using VISA, Mastercard and AMEX. Orders will be dispatched once payment confirmation has been received.

Deliveries & Shipping
The team at Hawkes General Store want to ensure that your online shopping experience is quick, easy and enjoyable. Our shipping methods and policies are designed to reach you as quickly and efficiently as possible.
All parcels sent via Australia Post include a tracking number. If your parcel does not arrive you are able to track your delivery using the Australia Post tracking website. Please note, if you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, it will either be left in a safe location or you will be left a calling card telling you how you can pick up your parcel.
Hawkes General Store takes no responsibility for orders lost by Australia Post.
Deliveries Within Australia
Where possible orders will be shipped within 2 working days of payment being received. Postage is free within Australia for orders $200 and up.  A flat rate of $15 is charged for purchases up to this value. Postage will be made through Australia Post and will include a tracking service. 
Bulky Items
A quote may need to be organised for bulky goods available in store or online.  Additional costs may be incurred for shipping of bulky goods. The customer will be contacted to arrange payment upon acceptance of quote.
Australia post may not be used for bulky items. 

Lost or Undelivered Items
If a parcel does not arrive or is damaged upon arrival please notify us via email ( and we can place an inquiry with Australia Post. If Australia Post have your parcel registered as delivered it is the responsibility of the recipient to place an inquiry with Australia Post as per the Australia Post Guidelines.
Telephone Orders
Hawkes General Store is happy to take your order over the phone. 
Payment for manual orders can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). 
Goods paid for by direct deposit will be shipped once we have confirmation that the payment has gone through. 
To process an order manually, please contact us directly with details of your order, preferred payment method, your shipping address, email address, and phone number.
Not all items from our store are online but we are constantly adding new things. If you know we have it in store just contact us by email or phone and we should be able to help you out.

Simply request it in the message box at checkout and your parcel or parcels will turn up, ready to go beautifully wrapped in high quality wrapping paper - totally free!
Returns & Exchanges
The team at Hawkes General Store would like you to feel confident when purchasing online and we want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. 
In the unlikely event that your purchase is faulty or damaged please contact us as soon as possible to arrange replacement/return/refund. We do not refund for a change of mind.

Please note that an item will only be accepted for a refund, an exchange or a credit note under the following conditions:

The item is unused, unworn and in brand new condition with packaging intact and the original labels attached•
The item is returned within 14 days of the receipt date with the receipt.
The customer is responsible for the cost of the return.
Please note that this does not include sale items.
No refunds will be offered for sale items.

Any personal information that you provide to us including your name, address, telephone number and email address will not be released, sold or rented to any entities or individuals outside of Hawkes General Store
Hawkes General Store does not collect or record any credit card details you may provide when purchasing products from the website. Your credit card details are processed by the secure payment gateway PayPal. 

We may from time to time send out an email with relevant information about a promotion, sale or event - this will only be relevant if you sign up to our mailing list and rest assured, this will not be often as we believe this is best done through social media formats. We encourage you to follow us on Instagram to get the latest goings on.
